Suryodaya School is the dream child of Hemant Kanoria, who is also the founder of both SREI and Kanoria Foundations.  Two branches of this school are now operating in Santoshpur and Birati of Kolkata, with the goal of educating underprivileged children living in the slum areas of this city.
